Notes
Piña Colada Protein Smoothie is a blended breakfast or snack drink made with frozen fruit, coconut milk, and protein powder. Frozen pineapple and mango are combined with a banana to create a thick, naturally sweet base, while canned coconut milk adds richness and body. Everything is blended together until smooth and poured into glasses, with a simple pineapple garnish if desired.
This recipe works because the frozen fruit provides structure and chill without needing added ice, keeping the smoothie creamy rather than watery. Banana helps bind the ingredients and smooth out the texture, while coconut milk contributes a consistent, full mouthfeel that pairs well with tropical fruit. Blending all ingredients at once keeps the process quick and ensures the protein powder is evenly incorporated.
This smoothie fits easily into everyday routines since it comes together in minutes and uses a short ingredient list. It’s best enjoyed right after blending, while the texture is thick and cold. The fruit ratios can be adjusted slightly based on what’s available, as long as at least one frozen fruit is used to maintain the intended consistency.
