Notes

This Keto Lemon Chicken is a quick skillet dish made with thin-sliced chicken breasts cooked in a creamy lemon pan sauce. The chicken is browned first, then set aside while chicken broth, lemon juice, garlic, butter, and heavy cream are combined in the same pan to form a smooth sauce. Fresh dill is added at the end for a light herbal finish before serving.

The recipe works well because thin chicken pieces cook evenly and quickly, preventing dryness while allowing good browning. Reducing the broth before adding butter and cream concentrates flavor and helps the sauce thicken without becoming heavy. Lemon juice adds brightness that balances the richness of the cream, while garlic and dill provide mild savory notes without overpowering the sauce.

This dish fits easily into everyday home cooking since it comes together in one pan and requires minimal prep. Leftovers store well in the refrigerator and reheat gently on the stovetop or microwave. The structure of the recipe stays the same with small adjustments, such as using chicken thighs instead of breasts or pairing it with different low-carb sides like vegetables or cauliflower rice.
