Notes

Brownie Ice Cream Cups are a baked dessert that combines a boxed brownie mix with a simple ice cream topping. Brownie batter is baked directly in a muffin tin, then shaped while warm to create a shallow well in the center. Once cooled, each brownie cup is filled with a scoop of ice cream and finished with chocolate sauce and sprinkles for a classic presentation.

The recipe works because baking the brownies in individual portions helps them set evenly and makes shaping easier right after they come out of the oven. Pressing a well while the brownies are still warm creates space for the ice cream without cracking the edges. Using a boxed mix provides a consistent texture that stays soft enough to eat with a spoon once frozen toppings are added.

This dessert fits well into everyday home cooking and casual entertaining since it relies on simple steps and store-bought components. The brownie cups can be baked ahead and stored until ready to serve. Ice cream and toppings should be added just before serving for the best texture and contrast.
