Notes
This Easy Garlic Bread is a quick baked side made by splitting a baguette or French bread and topping it with a simple garlic butter mixture. Softened butter is combined with minced garlic, salt, and parsley, then spread evenly over the cut bread before finishing with grated Parmesan. The bread is baked at a high temperature so it turns golden and crisp around the edges while staying soft inside.
The recipe works well because the high heat toasts the bread quickly without drying it out. Using softened butter helps the garlic and herbs spread evenly, allowing the flavor to soak into the bread as it bakes. Parmesan adds a lightly salty, savory finish and browns slightly in the oven, which adds texture without overpowering the garlic.
This garlic bread fits easily into everyday meals since it uses store-bought bread and comes together in minutes. It is best served right away while warm, but leftovers can be reheated briefly in the oven. The basic structure stays the same even with small adjustments, such as using a different fresh herb or adjusting the garlic amount to taste.
