Notes

Pumpkin Pie Sangria is a quick mixed drink that combines white wine, sparkling cider, and pumpkin pie vodka with chopped fresh fruit and warm spices. Pear and apple pieces are stirred directly into the pitcher, adding light sweetness and texture, while pumpkin spice and sugar are used to flavor and rim the glasses. Everything is served well chilled, making this a no-cook recipe that comes together in minutes.

The recipe works because the crispness of the white wine and sparkling cider balances the sweetness of the vodka and sugar. Chopped fruit softens slightly as it sits in the liquid, contributing flavor without overpowering the drink. Using pumpkin spice sparingly keeps the seasoning subtle and prevents it from dominating the base ingredients. Rimming the glasses adds an extra layer of flavor with each sip.

This sangria fits well into casual entertaining since it requires minimal prep and can be assembled shortly before serving. It’s best served cold and stirred before pouring to evenly distribute the fruit and spices. The fruit can be swapped or adjusted based on availability, as long as firm, crisp varieties are used to maintain texture.
